- They are exchanged for a short-lived token on every sync, so nothing long-lived travels around.
- Checked against Bandcamp first, then encrypted at rest and never shown again.

#### Sales in the currency they happened in, and the cut where it is stated

Merch, records and digital sales all arrive the same way.

- Every sale keeps its currency: a sale in pounds stays in pounds until your books convert it.
- Where the report states the net amount, the difference from the gross is booked as Bandcamp's fee. Where it does not, no fee is invented.
- The Bandcamp account holds nothing: they publish no balance and no payouts, so the money counts once, when it reaches your bank.
