# Another chain, another coin: priced before you sign

USDC on Base to USDC on Solana is a bridge, USDT to USDC is a swap. Both start from Exchange on your wallet, every cost shown before you sign.

## How it works

- **Same coin, another chain.** A bridge carries USDC on Base to your own USDC on Solana. It is booked when it lands, even with the browser closed, and a failed one comes back and cancels out.
- **Another coin, same chain.** USDT to USDC or USDC to ETH, on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, Base, TRON and Solana. Only tokens from a vetted list for each network are offered, so a fake ticker never reaches the form.
- **Every cost before you sign.** The quote, the minimum, the route and the network fee come first, and a route without a guaranteed minimum is refused. Swap cost is one line of at most 0.5%, Orla's 0.25% and the route's own where it charges one, inside the amounts.
- **Past the threshold, signatures.** Above the space's approval threshold an exchange becomes a request for co-signers instead of going by itself. At Northline, over $10,000 both founders sign.

## Questions

**Who in the team can swap or bridge?** Exchange shows on the row of a wallet that can sign. In a business space Swap and bridge assets is its own permission: owners and admins have it, a member only when the owner grants it.

**Can a client's dollars become the coin we pay in?** Yes. A wire to your account inside Orla lands as USDC in your own wallet, ready to bridge or swap. And USDC on that wallet pays a bank in dollars or euros.
