# Paper that came in: and the work it still needs

Bills and receipts that arrived but are not finished yet. It is work, not a decision, so none of it adds to your number.

## How it works

- **A bill, read and checked.** The amount, the date and the supplier come off the paper, and a bill that looks like one already filed asks once. Payment details never come from a letter.
- **A receipt finds its charge.** A receipt waits for the charge near the day it was paid. Attach it to one of the payments it could prove, or say there is no such payment.
- **Paper asked of whoever paid.** An owner, an admin or the accountant asks the person who paid. Reminders go on the third and seventh morning, and the row closes once a file arrives by any door.
- **Monthly goes to the calendar.** A supplier that bills the same sum every month goes on the calendar with its account and day, so the plan expects it.

## Questions

**Who works this lane?** Whoever holds the documents right, so your accountant can. Putting a supplier on the calendar takes the ledger right, and a viewer sees every panel without buttons.

**Does a bill here get paid?** Not from here. An accepted bill moves to To pay, and inside the mandate, after the pilot and from an account that pays by itself, it goes on its day. A new supplier or new bank details wait for a person.
