# Bills to pay: read, checked, paid on their day

Nothing is paid from a letter alone. Inside the mandate and after the pilot, a known supplier's bill goes by itself from an account that pays by itself; a new supplier or new bank details wait for a person.

## How it works

- **Read from the paper.** Forward a bill or let Orla read your Gmail. The amount, the date and the supplier land on the row; payment details never come from the letter.
- **A duplicate is caught first.** The same number written differently, the same amount from that supplier inside ninety days, money already sent for that sum. You decide in two presses, and both papers stay.
- **Paid on its day.** Inside the mandate and after the pilot, a bill to a known supplier goes by itself on its date, from an account that pays by itself. A new supplier or changed details wait for a person.
- **Closed by the arrival.** When the payment shows on the statement, the bill flips to paid and keeps its paper.

## Questions

**Can a bill pay itself before I see it?** Only inside the mandate, from an account that pays by itself, to a supplier you have paid before, and after that kind of payment passed its pilot. Everything else waits in the Inbox.

**What if the supplier sends the same bill twice?** Orla finds it before paying and asks you once: a duplicate or a different bill. A supplier who bills the same amount every month is not a duplicate.
