# The month, day by day: with what is left after each

Every sum with a date sits on its day, and each day shows what it brings in or takes out. Above the list, the month's end and the day cash would dip below zero.

## How it works

- **The month as a month.** Each day shows what it brings in or takes out, with a dot per entry, and today is ringed. Press a day to narrow the list; a star marks a currency with no rate.
- **A forecast that adds up.** Walked from today's balance through what is scheduled: the month's end and, in red, the first day cash would dip below zero. Each row shows what is left after it, and a budgeted expense its share of that budget.
- **Plans, typed or found.** Add a repeating payment with its amount, currency, a day from the 1st to the 28th, month or year, account and category. A series seen three times or more is offered as a plan in one press.
- **Where the autopilot plans.** Inside the mandate and after its pilot, the autopilot pays on these days and says which payments fit and which should move. Each one it paid is listed in Done by the machine.

## Questions

**Does the calendar pay anything by itself?** No. Autopay only books a charge into the ledger on its day. Money leaves under the mandate and its signing rules, and moving a payment later takes a person's press.

**Do I have to mark each payment paid?** No. The same sum leaving the same account within a week of its day marks the row paid. Record payment books one in a press, and Mark paid notes money that moved outside Orla.
