# A signed contract: becomes the schedule of invoices

Attach the agreement once and stop counting periods by hand. A new version changes nothing until a person applies it.

## How it works

- **Read once, from the file.** A signed agreement arrives in Documents from DocuSign or PandaDoc (on Scale), or you attach it. On your press the assistant reads the fee, the cadence or the milestones, the payment days and the tax, and names what it was unsure of.
- **The schedule bills on its day.** A monthly fee sends each invoice on its date and stops when the agreement ends. A milestone waits for a person on its day. Every day the client is due to pay stands on the calendar and in the cash forecast.
- **Not billed yet, per contract.** A period the contract promised that no invoice or payment speaks for shows with its dates and its sum. One press bills it, dated today.
- **A new file waits.** A new version or an addendum is read again, change by change. Nothing moves until someone applies it from a date or keeps the old terms.

## Questions

**Does the assistant sign a contract for us?** No. It reads a contract and can draft one from a file or a conversation, but a contract bills only after a person presses, and signing stays with the people your rules name.

**What about an agreement that prices each order?** It bills nothing by itself. Each order goes under it with its lines and period, and when the period ends you are asked what was delivered before the invoice is written.
