# Ask for money: without writing an invoice

URL: https://www.orla.finance/en/product/money/pay-links
Markdown twin of that page. Append `.md` to any Orla page URL to get one.

A link for one amount, in money or a token, that a person or a machine can pay.

## How it works

- **One amount, one account.** Name the amount and the account it lands in. A crypto link priced in dollars tells the payer how much of the token that comes to.
- **Books itself on arrival.** A watched link books the income when the money arrives, so nobody marks it paid by hand. A link you cancel stops working for whoever opened it.
- **An address that never changes.** The space has a payment address at orla.finance with your handle. A visitor names an amount there and gets a link of their own.
- **A price for machines.** A link in USDC on Base, Ethereum or Polygon answers an agent with a price instead of a page, over x402. You receive the full amount, and the gas is Orla's cost.

## Questions

**How does a payer know the link is really ours?** The page says Business verified by Stripe or that your domain is confirmed, and says Orla has not verified this seller when neither is true. The pages never ask for a password.

**Can my client pay by card?** Yes, once you connect your own Stripe account. Without it, a link asks for a transfer or for coins, by the account it lands in.
