# Every counterparty, with its papers and chats

An address book, and chats that book what they are told.

#### Contacts

Who are we dealing with, and on which rails?

- An address book of counterparties with their rails, documents, payments and debt.
- Payers become counterparties on one press; a client gets a chat of their own.
- An owner or admin marks a payee trusted; changing its rails takes the trust away.
- Import contacts from CSV with a dry run; duplicates are found and merged.
- Counterparty check screens the contact by name against sanctions, politically exposed persons, criminal lists and adverse media, and confirms a company in its registry. The verdict is a traffic light, Clear, Matches to read or Sanctioned, with the list each match came from; Not them marks a namesake with the name of who dismissed it.
- One check is one credit from the same balance the AML address screenings spend, and a verdict under thirty days old answers again for free. The assistant offers a check as a card with the price on it and never runs one by itself; a list that was cut short never reads as Clear.

#### Documents

Where is the paper, and what is it attached to?

- Filed by a schema you set in words, with versions and access.
- A document becomes a bill to pay or the receipt on a payment; upload in bulk.
- A Google Drive folder is a door into the book, and it opens from the conversation with the assistant too: paste the link, read the plan and its price, and nothing is read until you press Approve. Nothing in your Drive is moved, renamed or deleted; Orla only ever reads it.
- On a statement's panel, Read the statement proposes the account, the period and the closing balance, and nothing is saved until you press Save these.
- A whole sort run is previewed as a plan and undone in one press; a document can be sealed in the browser so the server itself cannot read it.

#### Open a document, hand it to a colleague

How does a colleague get this file?

- A tile or a row opens the document in a panel beside the list: the preview, its properties edited in place, the versions and who has access. The address carries the document, so the link can be copied.
- Share it with a member of the space by name, invite someone by email, or copy a link that opens for members of this space only; opening it puts the file on their Shared with me shelf. Somebody outside the space is told to ask for it.
- A link already sent keeps working until it is revoked: asking for the link again never mints a new one.
- Everyone sees their own uploads and the files shared with them, whatever their role; a viewer can open and download what was shared with them.

#### Chats

Can the team do this from Slack or Telegram?

- Say you paid the taxi with the company card; one press books it as an expense on the right account.
- A colleague's claim goes to the approvers with the buttons in their own chat; a file dropped in the channel gets a question first, never a silent filing into the vault.
- A client gets a chat of their own: the invoice arrives there with its PDF and buttons to say it is paid or ask for time, and every reply lands in your channel.
- Reminders go out on WhatsApp or SMS from your own number.
- A supplier bill or a client invoice is raised from one chat line as well.
- A request for a receipt arrives in Telegram or Slack with Attach a receipt: press it, pick the expense, send the photo, and it lands on that expense. A photo sent without the button is first asked whether it is one of the expenses asked about, so it does not become a second copy.
- Someone with a linked Orla account who names the bot in the space's group gets Ask to join; an owner or admin accepts or declines in the same room, the plan's seat limit is checked at the press, and a stranger gets no button. This door is being rolled out.
