# Rules that watch the books: and tell the right person

They watch while nobody looks and speak once a period, to the right person. A rule never sends money.

## How it works

- **Written as a sentence.** Pick what to watch as a card: a balance, invoices, a loan payment, a budget, a connection, money arriving. The rule reads back in words, not as a formula.
- **Looks ahead.** A low balance rule can read the cash forecast and say Operating runs below its line on the 23rd, a week before rather than the morning after.
- **Speaks when money lands.** An arrival rule speaks the moment money reaches the book, by feed, chain, import or hand, and can say what share to set aside. Moving it stays yours.
- **Last run as facts.** Every rule shows what it checked and when. A failed run, or a rule whose account is gone, lands in the queue under Exceptions.

## Questions

**Can a rule move money by itself?** No. A rule tells a person and never sends money at a bank or on chain. Signing stays on the payment, and money moves only under the mandate.

**Who can add or change a rule?** Whoever holds the automations right in the space. Without it the page still reads, but the switches turn into badges and the buttons are gone.
