# Who sees, who signs: and who stands in when away

People, roles and signing rules in one place. Loosening control waits, tightening applies at once.

## How it works

- **A role, then switches.** Owner, admin, member, viewer and accountant are where a person starts. Switches on their card narrow it, and a hidden section is refused everywhere, the assistant included.
- **Rules stand above budgets.** A signing rule holds whatever a position's budget says. Over $10,000 both founders sign, even for a payment inside the mandate.
- **A deputy with an end date.** Lee acts for Marketing from 14 to 21 Nov, inside its budget, and the journal says Lee acted for Sam. On 21 Nov Lee's rights end without anyone touching them.
- **Loosening waits, tightening does not.** A bigger budget, a looser rule or a new admin waits 24 hours, and any other owner or admin can cancel it. A lower budget or a pause applies the moment you press.

## Questions

**Can our outside accountant get in without seeing everything?** Yes, on Pro and up. The Accountant role opens the month, the reports and the taxes, and signs nothing. An account can also be hidden from everyone but the people you pick.

**What if someone loosens a rule without asking?** It does not apply for 24 hours, and every owner and admin gets an email and a push. One link cancels it and signs its author out of every device.
