# Orla vs Light

Markdown twin of that page. Append `.md` to any Orla page URL to get one.

Light is one ledger for a group of entities, countries and standards. Orla is one book for one company, bought on the site without a call.

Claims below checked on 13 September 2026, on light.inc; the site names no price and every button is Book a demo.

#### What each one is, and who it is for

- What it is (In one sentence): Orla: The finance back office that runs itself: bills, payouts, cards, invoices, and the month for your accountant, up to pre-accounting; Light: “The agentic ERP for multi-entity groups”: one general ledger, apps on top, and a “workforce” of agents that run the close, the bills and the bank reconciliation
- Price (Their site, this month): Orla: Free forever; Solo $25, Pro $69, Scale $199, Enterprise $499 a month, bought on the site without a call; Light: No price on the site; a third party review puts the entry at $35,000 a year and an implementation of weeks
- Who it is for (The buyer): Orla: One company, from a solo founder to a few dozen people; Light: A group from Series A to IPO: several entities, several currencies, auditors; customers named on the page are Famly, Tillo, Ocean.io and All Gravy
- The books (What the ledger is): Orla: A cash ledger with categories and account codes, a month that closes with a fingerprint, a journal export for Xero and QuickBooks; no double entry, no chart of accounts, and nothing is filed anywhere; Light: Double entry across the group, US GAAP, IFRS and local books from the same entries, 21 countries out of the box, and revenue recognition built in
- Moving money (Payouts, bills, cards): Orla: Payout batches up to 200 rows, approval thresholds and a quorum, cards with a ceiling, supplier bills; nothing leaves without a person's signature; Light: Bill payment in 80 plus countries on bank rails; no cards are named on the site, and no crypto
- Crypto (Exchanges and wallets): Orla: First class: six exchanges by read-only key, BTC, EVM, TRON and Solana wallets, a cost basis kept through swaps, and payouts sent in stablecoins; Light: Not mentioned anywhere on the site or in its API reference
- Agents (Whose): Orla: Your own agent by key or MCP, with roles, daily caps and a wallet of its own; an assistant that answers from the same rows and acts one press at a time; Light: Their agents inside the product, with read-only audit agents checking the executing ones and a monthly control report; custom agents described in words
- Getting in (How it starts): Orla: Sign up, connect one account, no call; four languages; Light: A demo, then an implementation; a partnership with KPMG announced on 8 September 2026 to roll it out

#### When Light is the right choice

A comparison you can trust has to be able to say this.

- You are a group of companies with several entities, currencies and accounting standards, and auditors expect consolidated statements.
- You want the ERP to run the close itself, with an audit agent reading over the executing ones.
- You have weeks for an implementation and a budget in the tens of thousands a year.

#### One company, and the book starts this afternoon

If any of this is your company, the comparison decides itself.

- No implementation: sign up, connect an account, and the first rows land with categories.
- Coins on an exchange or in a wallet next to the bank, priced by the minute they moved; a contractor paid in USDC.
- Your own agent, not theirs: a role, a daily cap, a wallet where the deposit is the whole worst case, and never a signature.
- Prices on the site, four languages, no call.

The free plan has no clock on it, connections are read only, and when you leave, your books leave with you.
