How the money autopilot works
you sign the mandate, the code moves the money

A money autopilot pays, collects and moves a company's money by itself, inside a mandate a person signed. Orla checks every payment against that mandate in code, pays what fits, and asks a person about the rest.

Already in

What each station does today
before anything goes by itself

  1. 01 Owed

Bills from forwarded mail or a Gmail inbox, contracts with their last day to cancel, subscriptions found in your history, expense claims.

  2. 02 Plan

A calendar of every dated payment, and the day the balance would dip below zero.

  3. 03 Check

New bank details wait for a second person. A payee's day counts every door, so one payment cannot be split. The bank checks the payee's name, and a blacklisted address keeps Send off.

  4. 04 Rail

Approve from Telegram, Slack or the iPhone. Money actions ask who you are again, at most every fifteen minutes.

  5. 05 Back

A bank statement never books a paid payment twice. A payout waits while its provider is down, and the payee can get a confirmation PDF.

  6. 06 Books

The month closes on a checklist and leaves as a journal for Xero or QuickBooks.

Questions

About the autopilot
the short answers

Is an AI deciding where my money goes?

No. Code checks every payment against the mandate a person signed. The model reads bills and contracts and explains each decision in words. It never makes one.

Who signs a payment over the budget?

Whoever issued that position, with one signature. If your signing rules ask for more at that amount, the rules win.

What happens when someone is away or leaves?

A deputy acts for the position inside its limits until a set date, and the log says for whom. When a person leaves, the position stops spending and its signatures go one level up.

Can I keep everything at the button?

Yes. A kind of action pays by itself only after its pilot and only when you let it. Stay at the button as long as you like.

What if it pays the wrong thing?

Mark the row as a mistake. If the money has not left, the payment is cancelled. If it has, Orla drafts the request to the payee, and two mistakes in 30 days send that kind back to your button.
