Questions
The questions that come first
Can contractors be paid to a bank in their own country?
Yes. A contractor is a contact with a rail: a bank account, or a wallet on an EVM chain or TRON. The batch pays each on the rail they carry, and each payout is priced at the day's rate in the book the accountant reads at the end of the month.
Does Orla run payroll for the placed contractors?
No. Orla pays contractors as a batch from your accounts and books each payout under its client. Employer-of-record fees and payroll come in as rows from the bank feed and sit under the client they belong to, like any other cost.
Do contractors need a seat?
No. Seats are people in the space; contractors are contacts and do not count. Paid plans start at $25 a month, and any single limit can be raised with a pack instead of a plan change.
