A bill forwarded by mail, or picked from a Gmail inbox read once a day, is read off its file and filed like any other.

Connected by its API like any system: people and their pay, beside the books.
Records beside the books - ERP
NetSuite, SAP, Odoo, Business Central and others, by their own sign-in.
Records beside the books - Accounting
QuickBooks Online and Xero by their own sign-in. Move customers, suppliers, open invoices and bills and your money in and out over, or keep them running beside Orla.

Customers, deals and orders, linked to your contacts by email.
On the contact's card - Banks
Your banks' own APIs, Plaid in the US from November and in the UK and the EU from January, statements in PDF or CSV.
Transactions - Wallets and exchanges
Wallets by address, exchanges by a read only key.
Transactions - Sales platforms
Stripe, Shopify, PayPal, Etsy, Gumroad, the App Store, Google Play and more, by a read only key.
Income - Any other system
Your script sends rows in with a key that files only into its own accounts and ends by itself.

- An API key, OAuth with your app, NetSuite tokens, an integration user for SAP Business One or Odoo. A system inside your network connects through a small runner next to it.

- It reads with small requests, asks which records matter and shows a few real rows. Nothing syncs before Approve and sync. It never sees the key.

- Records sync once a day and stay what that system says. They never enter your reports, budgets, VAT or tax.
- Drafts, not payments
- A rule can tell people, tag a contact, or draft an invoice or a payment to the linked contact. A payment goes to the address book's account, never to bank details from the system.

- Reads only
- A system that answers some reads through POST shows you the exact request first. Anything that would change data is refused, whatever the request says.
- Never stored
- Secrets, dates of birth, national ids and bank details are left out even when a system has them.

Which systems can Orla read?
Payroll and HR tools, CRMs, sales tools and ERPs with an API: by a key, OAuth with your app, NetSuite tokens, or an integration user for SAP Business One and Odoo. One inside your own network connects through a runner next to it.
Can Orla change anything in my systems?
No. It only reads. A read through POST waits for your Allow, and anything that would change data is refused.
Do a system's records go into my books?
No. They live beside the books, on your contacts' cards and in the assistant's answers, and never enter reports, budgets, VAT or tax.
Which plans can connect a system?
Pro and above. Free and Solo read mail, banks, wallets and exchanges.
