Partner program
Your clients stay yours. Their paperwork stops being your evening
A revenue share for the people who keep other companies in order: bookkeepers, accountants, tax advisors and finance consultants. You bring the judgement, Orla takes the typing, and you get paid every month the client stays.
One page of terms, and it carries a date. Join under it and it stays yours: a later change never touches the clients you already brought.
The money
25 percent of the subscription, paid monthly
The share keeps paying while you stay beside the client, and that is the arrangement we want.
What you earn
A percentage of the subscription your client pays. Add-on packs are left out of it on purpose: an AML check is a vendor's unit we pass on at close to cost, so there is nothing there to share.
- 25 percent of the subscription
- Every month, for as long as your client stays with Orla.
- From their second paid month
- The first month is where refunds and week-one departures live.
- Ten clients
- Roughly two to six thousand dollars a year if they sit on Pro or Scale.
- Business plans
- 25, 69, 199 and 499 dollars a month, which is what the percentage is taken from.
How it reaches you
The same shape the programs you already know use, with the part they stop at removed: there is no twelfth month here.
- Monthly
- Once the client's payment for that month has cleared.
- A 50 dollar floor
- Below it the balance carries to the next month, so no fee is spent moving it.
- Bank transfer or USDC
- Your choice, and you can change it.
- It ends when they do
- The share stops with your client's last payment, and never runs at a loss for either of us.
What you do not do
The billing relationship stays between Orla and the company, which keeps you out of it when something goes wrong with a card.
- No reselling
- Your client pays Orla directly, on their own card.
- No invoices to chase
- We pay you on the terms we send, and you never chase us for them.
- No quota
- One client is a partner too. Nothing expires if you bring nobody this quarter.
- No exclusivity
- Keep recommending whatever else you recommend.
- Not your own company
- The share is not paid on a company you own, direct or work for.
The seat
The Accountant seat, in your client's own space
The role exists because an accountant needs the whole picture and none of the authority to pay. You open the same rows the client does.
The Accountant role
From the Pro plan up, in business spaces. Your client invites you from Team and access.
- Reads the picture
- Accounts, transactions, reports, aging and exports.
- Runs the paperwork
- Invoices, pay links, contacts and documents, plus recording an incoming payment.
- Never moves money out
- No manual entries, no transfers, no proposing or approving a payment.
- Off the rosters
- Taking the role removes a person from every approval roster there is.
- In the log
- Every action the seat takes lands in the audit log.
If the client wants to hand you less
The role is a starting set. Nineteen independent toggles on each person's card decide the rest.
- An observer seat
- Read only, for a client who wants a pair of eyes and nothing else.
- Nineteen toggles
- Write the ledger, propose payments, approve payments and sixteen more, each one its own answer.
- Restricted accounts
- An owner can hide an account from everyone but the people they name.
Your side of the month
The pages built for the person closing the month rather than for the founder reading the dashboard.
- One page for the month
- Close it, reopen it, and see what is still missing before you do.
- Your own codes
- Map Orla's categories to your chart of accounts and download the journal.
- VAT and the tax centre
- Returns, capital gains by lot, and the lines behind every figure.
- Up to 800 days
- How much history one export can carry at a time.
- Every client at once
- Keep several client spaces and the switcher opens on all of them together.
What we want back
Your edge cases, before they become somebody's month end
Orla is built by agents with one person reviewing every change, so the gap you name on Monday is a feature within weeks. Partners get a direct line to the founder.
What a partner gets that a referrer does not
- A direct line
- To the founder, with no queue in between.
- Your process, in the product
- The exports, the codes and the checks your practice runs on.
- Early sight
- You see what is coming before it ships, and you say when it is wrong.
The honest part
This does not replace you, and the share is built so we cannot want it to
Orla closes a month on time. It cannot tell a client's structure is wrong or defend a position to a tax office: that work is yours, and the share keeps you next to the client in month twelve.
Orla holds only a card balance or an agent's wallet, if the client funds one. Bank feeds and exchange keys are read only.
Questions
Before you write to us
How do you know the client came from me?
Two ways, and we use whichever one is true. You get a link that marks the signup as yours, and where the link did not do it, because the client signed up on their own or came back weeks later, we record it from the conversation instead. There are no promo codes in Orla, so the record is kept on our side, and we will always tell you which of the two applied.
When and how am I paid?
Monthly, once your client's payment for that month has cleared, by bank transfer or in USDC, whichever you prefer. Anything under 50 dollars carries to the next month, so no transfer fee is spent moving it. The share starts with your client's second paid month.
What is the share taken from?
The subscription your client pays. Add-on packs are outside it: an AML screening is a vendor's unit passed through at close to cost, so there is nothing in it to share.
Can the terms change after I join?
Not for you. The terms carry a date, and the clients you brought under them keep those terms for as long as they stay. A later version applies to partners who join under it, and never backwards.
What happens if my client leaves?
The share ends with their last payment. It is a share of what they pay, so it can never run at a loss for either of us.
Is Orla accounting software that competes with my tools?
No. It is the layer before accounting: bills, payments, invoices, documents, the month you close and the files you hand on. There is no double entry ledger and no consolidation, and that is on purpose.
Do I need to know crypto?
No. Banks, statements in any language, cards and invoices are the everyday part. The exchange and wallet rails are there for the clients who already have them, and they are read only.
Can I try it on my own books first?
Yes, and we would rather you did. Write to us and we will open a space for your own practice before you put a client anywhere near it. That space is yours to use; the share is for the clients you bring, not for a company you own or work for.
Tell us about one client, and we will tell you if this fits
One email is enough: what your practice does, roughly how many clients, and what eats the most hours in your month. If Orla is wrong for them, we will say so.
