The cards on top are filters. The next installment says how much of it is interest, the only part the month counts as a cost.

How it works

Loans and debts
in four lines

Both sides on one page
Loans you took, money lent and money owed, with the nearest dates on both sides. The cards on top are filters.
A schedule that keeps up
A new rate or an early repayment rebuilds the schedule. Only the interest counts as a cost of the month.
Linked to the bank row
A repayment links to the row that paid it, so nothing is booked twice. The last installment can be undone.
Recorded in words
Say record a loan or pay the installment, and the assistant offers one card. Nothing is written until a person presses.

Questions

Loans and debts
the short answers

Is the whole installment an expense?

No. Only the interest counts as a cost. The rest pays down what you owe.

What if the bank already shows the repayment?

Link that row to the installment. Its amount and day count as the repayment, and nothing new is written.
